The Peter Edwards Hall and Playing Field

By St Andrews Church, Church Road in Slip End there is a playing field, which was created with monies gifted to the village as a recreational area. 

 

Over the years as the demands for more sophisticated facilities have developed so have the facilities been improved on site, and thanks for a Lottery Fund grant in 1999, the pavillion was built.  

 

The Peter Edwards Hall has a large in door hall area, a kitchen and bar area, and sports changing facilties.

 

The day to day running of the facility is looked after by a Management Committee, who meet once a month for a committee meeting, but volunteer many other hours keeping the facility clean, maintained and well run. 

 

The Peter Edwards Hall can seat 100, with ample off road parking, and the hall is available for club and group meetings and parties and can be hired in conjunction with the use of the field at an extra charge, either for a few hours or a whole evening.
